You can find us weekly at the EPIC Market (Capital Region Farmer’s Markets) at stall number 86. There are over 100 other stallholders, with lots on offer including fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, wine, olive oil, bread, sweet treats, fish, coffee, chocolate, small goods and delicious ready to morsels.
Staples in our house are Tilba milk, citrus from Mick, Bananas from the banana man, fish from Narooma Seafoods, pasta from Nonna Maria, sourdough from Origin Bake or Husk and of course, mushies from Shoalhaven mushrooms.
The EPIC Market Story
In 2003, Rotary of Hall started selling roses from Old Parliament house with great success. By 2004, the first farmer’s market was held at EPIC and the market has grown steadily ever since.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the committed Rotary volunteers, the growers, the producers and of course, our loyal customers that come to the market no matter the temperature!
The Rotary Club of Hall works hard to ensure CRFM is an accessible and enjoyable space for all. Authenticity is a key feature of the market and Rotary inspects farms regularly so that customers can be confident they are buying direct from the grower.
Capital Region Farmers Market: A Community Market
Capital Region Farmers Market is more than just a transaction of goods -it’s a routine meeting place and a reflection of Canberra’s diverse and conscious community.
We love seeing our regular customers’ faces every week and helping to build connections to what people eat.
Our customers’ passion for organic, local food and appreciation for how we farm is what keeps us going!
The Capital Region Farmers Market is know to locals by various names, including EPIC Markets Canberra, Mitchell Market, Northside Produce Market, and more.
